Smail Akdim Couture

A native of Rabat, Smail Akdim, refinement of etiquette icon and an Ambassador of the Moroccan fashion industry. Interned from Lebanon to France to learn the techniques of international high fashion and creation of textile and embroidery. His work reflects the ready to wear and Haute Couture industries. This brand is easily noticed on major red carpets won by celebrities around the word.


Nique X Boutique

The name “Nique” was inspired by the designers middle name Monique the French version of her mother’s name Monica (who is a seamstress), and symbolizes the garments uniqueness. Nique is a one of a kind fashion brand challenging traditional fashion styles by incorporating eccentric prints with a mosaic of materials integrated together in creative figure flattering women garments.


Divines Design

Martine Dabire, the designer, named her company after her daughter Divine. Divine’s Design is a sophisticated haute couture fashion brand based in Toronto, Canada and West and Central Africa.
Her main theme revolve around the modernization of African Fabrics that she calls “Metissage” which refers to a mixing. The store specializes in women’s cocktail & evening dresses and men’s clothing and has gained much success! Divine’s Design’s main focus is on women’s beauty, their curves and sensuality by using a variety of African woven fabrics mixed with western cut. Martine Dabire has showcased in several fashion shows throughout Africa and Canada.


Kahonde Design

Kahonde Designs is a contemporary ready-to-wear brand for the modern finesse woman. It appeals to people who are passionate about comfortable looks that is made to fit everyday women. The brand creates clothing that is luxurious from the finishing inside to the detailing on the outside. Merging the classic feminine fashion silhouettes with vivid prints and creative fabric manipulations to create exciting unique fashion pieces. Creative Director, Nyasha Dzawanda transmits in the collection an appreciation of the fashion cultures of her homes Zimbabwe and Canada. Kahonde Designs will launch it first collection August 2017, at African Fashion Week Toronto.
